Nikki McIntyre

NIKKI MAGgOT

Nikki first fleshed out her passion for horror when she assisted with make-up and acted in a haunted house at the age of ten. Attending Tom Savini’s Special Make-up Effects School, Nikki brought her exceptional skills and natural talent to the next level. The remake of the 1950s Mexican horror film Brainiac was her first professional experience as an effects artist and actress. George A. Romero’s Fright Nights hired her on as a specialist of makeup effects. Her excellent display of talent lead her into a management position the following season, with acting, make-up effects, construction and design.

She was also featured in the “Terrors by the Lake” commercial, another elaborate haunted attraction designed by Benzidream FX Studios. Nikki soon met Michael Todd Schneider and became a part of magGot films.

Through magGot Films, Nikki was an on set effects technician for the holiday horror bash Two Front Teeth. She was recognized for her “Grade A gore effects” by horrorchannel.com on the Ron Jeremy-supported backwoods fable, Bigfoot at Holler Creek Canyon. Her first audition landed her the incredible lead of Sarah, in G. Cameron Romero’s The Screening.

Nikki just finished collaborating on effects for Multo, a twisted Philippine horror film (directed by Luis Pedron and Sherwin Morada). Currently, Nikki is supplying all of her blood spattered skills on magGot Films’ Opening the Mind. She works on an eclectic short film series entitled “magGot corner” for the CD-ROM magazine The Meat Socket. Nikki is also starring in the horror anthology, DOUBLE DOSE OF TERROR!! (directed by Michael Todd Schneider, Max Almeida, and Tyler Tharpe). Nikki is working on all episodes and is credited as the following: co-writer, costume designer, location scout, props and set designer, actor and of course special make-up effects artist. She is also starring in and multi tasking in magGot Films other two current features: …AND THEN I HELPED and LET’S MAKE A… HORROR MOVIE.
